Annual Family Portrait
Tomorrow’s the day for family and friends; a special day when lots of picture-taking begins. At the Carey household we learned a long time ago that using cameras with a self-timer fixture puts everyone in our family picture. This year, when your family gathers for the holiday, be sure someone brings a camera with a self-timer. Then when you’re all seated at a festive table or gathered in front of the fireplace, put the camera on a tripod or the piano, or whatever works, and take several group photos. If you’re usually the one taking pictures, we’ll bet you’re seen in very few of them. This year get everyone — including you — and afterward make duplicate prints for all. Even send some to those far away who couldn’t be there to share in the fun. Soon you’ll realize you’ve started a new tradition, the annual “family holiday portrait” (just like we Careys do). You’ll have memories you’ll cherish for years to come.
