If you like doing electrical work there are two tools you must always have at your side: a wire cutter-stripper and a sheathing knife (I use a razor knife). Having said all that, I have just discovered a new tool from Wiss Tool Company that can be used to perform both tasks. They call it their Flip Joint Cable Cutter and Sheath Knife. This tool is so very cool. It literally is a 3 in 1 tool. With the handles in the standard “plier” position the tool can be used as a cutter or a stripper. By flipping the handles 180 degrees the tool becomes a sheath knife. The transformation takes less than a second. Oh, by the way, the cutter stripper will easily sever 10/3 NM wire.
