Pizza Stuffed Bell Peppers
If your mouth is watering for this weeks’ “Grill Guy” recipe, here it is!
4—Large bell peppers…..your choice…green, red, or orange.
1–8 oz bag whole milk Italian blended cheese
1—8 oz bag of whole milk Mexican blended cheese
1—8 oz. Pack pre-cooked breakfast sausage crumbles (found in the deli case near hot dogs & sausages)
1—5 oz Pack “mini” pepperoni pieces
1—Small onion (white or yellow)
Wash peppers completely and pat dry.
Remove seed cores and wash completely
Skin and finely dice onion.
In a mixing bowl combine cheeses, sausage crumbles, and mini pepperoni pieces. Mix thoroughly.
Fill each of the hollow peppers with the mixture.
Preheat your grill to HIGH
Place the filled peppers directly on the grill grate and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until filling melts and blends.
Peppers will begin to darken and can char. Pay close attention to ensure they do on wilt.
Serve warm and enjoy!
