The Danco Innovation Center, located in Shorewood, IL is a 6,000 square foot facility that houses advanced equipment and machinery for the development and testing of new plumbing and consumer products. Development and Innovation. The Perfect Seal is the team’s second invention to win the Chicago Innovation Award, winning first in 2010 for the HydroRight Dual Flush Converter.

“A record-breaking 643 organizations nominated for this year’s awards,” said Luke Tanen, Executive Director of the Chicago Innovation Awards.  “We are seeing an influx of talent and capital that continues to fuel innovation activity in the Chicago region.”

The winners receive a variety of honors including the opportunity to ring the NASDAQ Bell in New York City, and meetings with the Cook County President, Mayor of Chicago and Governor of Illinois.
