Enjoy your column on house problems very much. My neighbor and I really appreciated the advice you gave concerning shingle preservation. We are having a problem in this view and would greatly appreciate your advice on where we can obtain Chevron Shingle Oil. Thanks for your assistance.

The nice man at Chevron technical support asked us not to give his number out because in the past he has been deluged with calls that don’t relate to where to find Chevron Shingle & Floor oil. He says he gets calls about everything from company credit card billing errors to complaints about flat tires. Naturally, the great guys that we are we didn’t want to cause him any unnecessary inconvenience, so we told his boss that if he gave us permission to use the number we would explain the situation. He did, so here it is 1-800-582-3835.
