Change Bulbs Before Cold Weather
By onthehouse on May 18, 2014
The first moving sign was installed in New York in Times Square in 1928. Fifteen-thousand flashing bulbs made words move. That winter, those implemeting the innovation learned a lesson.
That was: put in all new bulbs before cold weather begins, so as not to have to change bulbs in wind, rain, sleet and snow. The same goes for your house; it takes only minutes to replace all outside bulbs on a nice day as opposed to changing bulbs during a storm.
