Camera Tips to Start a Tradition
By onthehouse on May 13, 2014
‘Tis the season for family and friends — a special time when lots of picture taking begins. At our house, we learned a long time ago that cameras with a timer feature will bring everyone into the picture.
This year when loved ones gather, put the camera on a tripod. When you’re all seated, at the festive table or gathered in front of the fireplace, start taking photos. Shoot more than one; that way you’re more likely to get a good photo of everybody. Make sure everyone can see the camera, and keep the room bright to avoid “red eye.”
Make duplicate prints for all. Start a new tradition at your house — holiday group photos with everyone included. You’ll have memories to cherish for years to come.
