Bye-Bye Builder Basic Mirrors

Frame them with MirrorMate® Frames. It’s the DIY Frame You Install While the Mirror’s on Wall

As the saying goes, it’s all in the details. A MirrorMate frame adds that custom detail to a builder’s grade bathroom – in minutes. It’s an easy DIY project, as the pre-taped frame presses right onto the glass – while the mirror stays on the wall. The patented frame technology allows for the frame to cover clips and fasteners and give a plate glass mirror the look of a high-end, free-hanging framed mirror.

MirrorMate frames come in over 65 different styles at www.mirrormate.com. They’re each cut to the mirror’s measurements and work with all mirrors, no matter the size or mirror placement against a wall, backsplash or ceiling.

“It’s an eco-friendly update that both saves and upgrades the mirror you have,” says Lisa Huntting, president of MirrorMate LLC. “Do-it-yourselfers, designers and hotels all utilize the frame to instantly add a finished, quality look to biggest focal point in a bathroom – the bathroom mirror.”

How it Works

The process is simple: select a style, measure your mirror to order – and install! Upon arrival you’ll be able to apply your frame in just 20-minutes.

Simply, join the frame corners with the supplied wood glue and push in the corner wedges – just like those professional framers use. Placement guides ensure that you can properly align the frame on the mirror. Then simply press the pre-taped frame directly onto the glass. Prices start at $99 and vary based on mirror size and frame selection.

Eco-friendly & Made in the USA

Almost all of MirrorMate’s frames qualify for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) green building points both based on the way they’re constructed and the fact that the frames allow users to refurbish and beautify their old mirrors instead of disposing of them with construction waste. About 87% of MirrorMate frame stock comes from and is manufactured in America from undersized-forest harvest or sawdust that is repurposed into MDF. It is shipped fewer than 500 miles, and then re-fabricated in our North Carolina plant into the custom mirror frames. It’s a process achieved with as little waste as possible and delivers the customer with a superior product.

About MirrorMate LLC

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, MirrorMate LLC was founded in 2004 by Lisa Huntting, who invented the MirrorMate® frame as a retro-fit framing solution for the bare mirrors in her own home. The frames have been used to finish mirrors in most major hotels, homes across the country –and even Kelly Ripa’s dressing room. As the original and industry leader, the product is patented in the U.S. and Canada and features such unique design elements as a grooved inside edge that cover clips and hides the mirror’s edge. This specially crafted frame ensures the look of a fully-framed, free hanging mirror. MirrorMate frames are eco-friendly, high quality frames – almost all made and manufactured from wood or recycled wood-based materials in the U.S.A.
